bandung

So I went to Bandung last sunday and I'm back here yesterday.Overall I enjoyed the trip since my main objective there is to shop so shop I did. There were sooo many factory outlets there till I think even if I stayed 1 month I won't finish going to all the shops there. Those stuffs are sold at filthy cheap prices and you can find like any brands you want there.MNG,Zara,Guess,Miss sixty,La Senza,Guess,Roxy,DKNY,Banana Republic etc. as long as ongkosnya ada.All the tops or jeans you can buy in the range of 8-40 ringgit. But you can't really find Levi's jeans there since I think levi's have it's own factory outlet so they don't send any to bandung. There were lots of choices for bags and shoes too.Christian Dior,Coach,Jimmy Choo,D&G,Prada,LV......you can buy all that at prices of 100-300 ringgit.I've listed down some of the factory outlets here so if any of you decides to go there, these are some places to go:
1)Rumah mode at Jalan Setiabudhi-One of the nicest factory outlets, all the tops, pants and bags are sold at low prices and so pretty.
2)Diaz at jalan Sederhana-All the bags and shoes yg lawa2 smua kat situ.
3)Jalan riau-There are a lot of fos like heritage, island, oasis, terminal tas yg best2 la.Even kebaya yg lawa2 also were sold there but I didn't bought any since I don't wear them.
4)Cimbaduyut-There's this fos that sold bags and shoes there.A definite place to go.
5)Pasar Baru-this place is quite famous for tudung2 and telekung2.
6) If you were still left with more money and time then you can visit other fos at Jalan Dago and Jalan champelas i think or jeans street but I'm not really fond of the shops there since the shops are hot, dark and very unorganized. They don't really sort their stuff nicely and timbun2 making it hard to find what we want.

I must say the foods there weren't my favourites.I thought I will enjoy eating there since I love nasi padang in Malaysia but it turns out that I don't really like the pure nasi padang.Maybe the nasi padang in malaysia have been malaysianized. There's a nice restaurant selling nasi ambuni at Sari Sunda at jalan setiabudhi. The atmosphere were nice but I don't really like the food. Then there's nasi timbel which is ok cause it taste more like malaysia.(lidah melayu btul). The fast food there were sold half the price of the ones in malaysia. At least that's what I thought since I found out that the prices of ice creams and sundaes in mcdonalds were sold at half of the price in malaysia.

If you wants to visit bandung make sure that your intention is just to shop since there's not much places to go for sight-seeing.The guide did brought us to gunung berapi which is gunung tangkuban perahu which shaped like a flipped-boat.All I can see is just the kawah which I think looks more like a gaung. But if you wants to experience visiting there I think it's ok but i don't think i would wanna go there for a second time.

One thing that i praised about the people there is that they worked really hard to earn their living and they did a lot of odd jobs. The teens there sings to the taxis and cars that stopped at traffic light for just 40 cents under the hot sun.Although some of them were very persistent to sell their stuff especially at tourists spots but you just have to admire their spirits to work takdela merempit tak tentu hala or melepak tak tentu pasal kan. It's a pity since indonesia have a lot of corruptions and the economy gap is too wide that for the poor some lives on being poor.So that's all i guess this have been a long post.My mom said that I can plan the trip with the trimonkeyz there if we wants to go there when we work since it's quite cheap to go there and it's not really foreign there. So mau enggak trimonkeyz hehehe.End.

kdrama

It's been 1 week since I ended my industrial training. It's been nice so far although I didn't get around to do much yet and my sleeping pattern haven't change so far.I still slept at 10 and woke up at 7 everyday.Ooh I've been cooking lunches for my family but in every meal that I have made there must be something off and didn't taste or look right at least in one dish from the whole set.Sigh maybe I simply don't have the talent in cooking.I'm going off to Bandung this Sunday with my family.I hope the journey to and fro will be safe and not much glitches that we have to deal with,Amin.Well you know how I'm such a paranoid when it involves traveling by plane.I know that the risk of traveling on land or sea could be much higher but frankly, I would so much rather been shot on solero shot 2 times back-to-back than to travel by plane just for example from penang to kl that only takes 50 minutes.I hope my job in the future wouldn't involve going out-station to any place that needs to be reached by flight so much.I think I shouldn't put too much hope on it since usually what I hope won't turn out the way I wanted,I just don't want to jinx it.I watched some Korean dramas in this one week. One thing that I like about the k-drama is that the heroes in the series are quite determined when it involves getting their dream girls.Plus they do it in a gentleman-like manner,I mean without involving crime like cheating or even worse raping.I like those kind of guys. Those who are determined and knows what they want and not afraid to show it or voice it out. There's some sense of macho-ness in there.Of course in those series there are also those who are too afraid to jeopardize anything or too gentleman that when another guy happens to like the same girl they will automatically back out.Yeah I guess I shouldn't say anything about them, they have their reasons.Ok this have gone to too random and merepek. So I shall leave you here and oh trimonkeyz next week is the last week.Enjoy ok lalink-lalink ku.End.

Last day

Today is my last day for industrial training. While I was driving to office this morning,I thought to myself how I once felt that 3 months is a very long time and how I thought that today won't come but it does. How do I felt about it?Well 3 months ago I thought I will be ecstatic to end my training........well today,I am honestly happy but my heart aches a little bit cause I think I've grown accustomed to this office,to it's environment,to the working life routine and to the staff here that it's quite hard to leave this place. But as most of you might know by now,I hate goodbyes. That's the one thing that I hate most in life. However terrible it felt sometimes to be stuck in any place I'll still feel sad when it the time comes for me to leave.I did learn a lot here and I guess the sv did taught me a lot too on life and on work so I owed him a lot.Nothing much happen this week, just the new industrial training students arrived and my oh my they are some funny bunch.I think I laugh almost all the time since they were here.Yesterday I brought them out for lunch at tesco shah alam.Going there wasn't a problem since I asked people in the office first for direction but going back to office was one thing.I got lost and it took us one hour to get back to the office. We went out for lunch at 1.30pm and came back at 4.30pm!!Well from 1.30 to 3.45 we were just going around tesco, looking at stuff and chit-chatting forgetting that we have work to do and we have an office to return to.Luckily the kids were so crazy and funny that I felt relax even though I was lost and worried that I can't find my way back to office. What's more the sv is waiting for us.Yeah, I think I'm gonna miss them. And yeah,I did call them kids cause they were younger than me that I felt matured (ehem ehem....old) when I'm with them (dahla botak tengah). While I was lost,it hit me how I missed trimonkeyz a lot.I think I did get lost a lot with the trimonkeyz. They were the people that can turn panic moments to funny ones and the ones that can make me laugh when I was supposed to get worried. It also hit me that there will only be one semester left for us to jalan-jalan cari makan and get lost on our way there.Anyhow there are just 2 hours left, though unexpectedly I'm leaving this office with a heavy heart but some part of me can't wait to move on and start a new semester.End.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to all muslim readers and Happy new year 2007!!!!
May this coming year be a good one for all of us
Oh I wish to write an entry as a closure for the year 2006 but the thing is that I kind of forget what are the significant events in 2006 so it's rather hard to write. So I think I'll just write some of the things that I've done for the first time and some of what I had in mind.

1)PCD Concert!!!!!I think this can be count as an event that highlights my year.Afterall it was my first time going to concerts by international artiste and I'm glad I went there with my girls.

2) Went for a scalp treatment for the first time.(So how come I'm still a botak tengah now)

3)Oh yeah practicals.I can't say it have been nice all the while for me but as painful as it is to admit I have to say being there taught me a lot about life and prepared me to face the reality. At least when I started working and if I have to face the same things I will know what to do next.It taught me to not have high expactations on people and be thankful for what I have now.

6)I moved from townhouse to hostel which was ok with the bittorents and all.(But I think all of us can do without the souveniers left in the toilet bowl)

7)I saw one of the 7 look-alikes of me and it's in MMU.Although some said I'm not unique anymore because of this but I found this very amusing.

8)I think a guy thought that I'm a pervert because I saw him half-naked.(Sorry to the guy in brief)

9)One year of endless quarrel with nobita (boleh kira significant ke?).Tiring, but somehow now when it gets harder to meet the nobita it felt like some part of me was missing.

I can't remember my resolution for last year or if I even made one.I don't plan on making one this year but since I did stick to the 2005's resolution I think making one for 2007 won't hurt.I discovered that while doing industrial training, I can be quite mean and bad tempered sometimes when I chose to.I'm no saint but I know for a fact that's a part of me that I really need to change.Besides,I really hate that side of me.I hope I can cut down on being self-centered and think about other people first in all my actions.Oh yeah, the worry freak thingy have done it's time so I shall let it go and have a more easy breezy life from now on.I think it does made people annoyed with me sometimes too.I wish the trimonkeyz will still be in contact even when the distance separates us in future and I'll try to make an effort to be as close as in the past with my good friends back in school since I think the distance do in some ways drift us apart.

Well I think 2006 wasn't a good year for me,most of the things I've planned wasn't going on smoothly and some just goes down the drain but nevertheless I know that this will be among the years that I shall miss.In 2007 most of the engine people will have graduated.Although I look forward for the ending of studies and starting of a new chapter in life but I know that it will be very sad when the time comes so with a heavy heart, farewell 2006.

*cue the sobbing sounds*
