Sorry for the super angsty post before this.I was really sick and frustated at that point which makes me blows up to innocent people around me.Sigh.That's what I hate most about myself and now I have to clean up this mess.Anyway, I don't know when I could continue with my travellogue cause I'm staying at a different place for these few months and the current house does not have internet connection (which also contributes to reason I missed the west side story ticket *sobs*).The only way for me to use the net is in the office which is what I'm doing now but I can't really blog much in office cause of well... the huge pile of work.

Tokyo Trip: Day 5 4/4/2010
Since I'm in the office with nothing to do for the moment,might as well continue blogging about the trip. For this day, the first itinerary for the day is to go to Shinjuku Gyoenmae garden. There's an entrance fee of 200yen charged to enter the garden but I think that's the most worthy 200 yen I've spent on the trip.I'm not exaggerating when I say I think this is the most beautiful garden I've been in my life. It's so pretty I wish the image of the garden could stay with me.There were sakura trees fully blooming in the whole garden.Inside the garden itself there are parts of the garden called "English garden" and the "Asian garden" and the landscape at every side are so pretty.It's like every corner you turn to can be the scene for a video clip.Even the lane with bald sakura trees is pretty because there are sakura petals blown in the air laying on the floor like carpet .There are other pretty flowers in the whole garden too but obviously I can't recognize them.If my mom were to be there she would seriously love it.There are mats laid down on the park too for people to have picnic.By the time we left the garden,there were so many people and no more space on the mat left.I wish I could bring my future husband or my mom to this garden.Tokyo in spring is so romantic.Then we left the garden to find lunch.We walked for I don't know how many round of blocks to find this kebab place but since I forgot to bring the address,we didn't manage to find it in the end so we settled at this turkish restaurant. For 1 halal meal in tokyo at these restaurants,it will generally come up to 900yen.I stupidly ordered an ice water and when we got out from the shop,it had turned really chilly so I was trembling all over. After that, we walked around and took purikura picture.
After all that we went to harajuku.At harajuku,first we went to Meiji jingu shrine.Actually, both of us didn't really want to visit the shrine but I guess we have to go to at least 1 of them to be touristy.The route to the shrine from entrance was really really long and there were so many tour busses there.I think we spent only 5 minutes taking pictures around the shrine and spend so much time later at it's souvenir shop.Fatin somehow become shopaholic whenever we came across any souvenir shop.
And then,we went to the yoyogi park.Most visitors to this park are teenagers and if you came earlier as in the afternoon you can find lots of them in cosplay suits.But, as we reach there quite late,I think most of these cosplay kids have already gone home nevertheless we still found many teens picnicking under the many sakura trees there which are also in full bloom.The park was so lively with people singing in bands, juggling balls, playing football etc. and there were also lots of hippies there.I saw a hippie group walking around bringing "free hugs" signs around the park and another group playing african music?.The park also serves as meeting place for the groupies of bands in japan.I knew cause they were holding signs with names of bands and I recognize quite a lot of them.Basically,this is the park that shows the life of the youth in tokyo.They surely knew how to embrace youth.Although the park is quite dirty for japan standard, it's still really interesting to see it first hand.Lastly,before going back to hotel we went to shibuya for a while for window shopping.By this time,my feet felt like falling off and it gets really cold too.End.
